Hi, I am Luana from Brazil and it is the fist time post on this blog, I am happy for it, and i will start writing about our trip to the Tilden Park.
On Tuesday, some friends from my English course and I went to Tilden Park. We hoped for a sunny day, but unfortanetaly, there was fog and the day was cold.
Denise, our teacher, decided we should wait an hour, so the weather could improve, but instead of sun, we just lost the bus. Anyway, it was not a bad thing, because we could walk a little bit and see the Student's Organic Garden of U.C. Berkeley.
Afterward, we caught the bus, number 67, and in ten minutes, we got to the Tilden Park. So, we strolled down and turned left to the Nature Center.
At the Nature Center, we saw some wild animals in taxidermy, like a fox, a deer and a raccom. Later, we went to Jewel Lake, where we had lunch, saw some ducks and turtles and practiced our English speaking.
Then, we started getting cold, that's why we decided to go to the Little Farm, where we could see domestic animals, like chickens, goats and cows.
So, we caught the bus back to our school. I really liked the trip and it helped us to get to know better our classmates.
