If you ever go to Okinawa, Japan, maybe you would like to go visit the Kuroshio Sea – the second largest aquarium tank in the world. It’s very impressive.

Here is a link to a short film about Lorenzo, the Flying Frenchman, who for the past 20 years has been standing on horses. I’m not in favor of using animals in shows to entertain people because unfortunately in most of the cases their interests (benefit, welfare, well-being) are not protected. But this is a different story since there is a relationship of love and respect between man and animals and the horses seem to enjoy very much what they are doing.

ReplyDeleteI specially like the dolphins played bubbles, that were made by themselves, in these links.
I went to the aquarium place 8 years ago in Okinawa. I think the place was the biggest aquarium tank in this world in that time. It was really big and incredible, however I don't really remember how I felt when I saw the biggest aquarium tank in the first time, I think because I don't really enjoy seeing animals are closed in the rooms even though I went there specially to see them. ;-*
thank for posting i enjoyed your post, i like the flying french man a lot. it surely looks like the horses were enjoying themself.
