Modal verbs 'used to' and
'would'
Both 'would' and ‘used to’ describe actions or situations in the past that were repeated over and over and over again that we don't do now or that are not happening now.
Ex: 'used to' and ‘would’ both OK: √ = OK sentence

All of these sentences describe SINGLE REPEATED actions or situations in the past, which are finished now.

Use
only USED TO because it is not a single action that occurs repeatedly, it is a general
situation or condition.
