DeleteNo problem Khalil. Just remember that gerunds are verbal NOUNS and, as you said this afternoon during our review session, they express IDEAS. On page 29 of your book, we learn that some verbs like to be followed by gerunds. For example:
DeleteHe quit smoking.
She talks about traveling to Cuba a lot.
This is easier than you think! =)
Teacher,I mess up more than half of iterative learning.please,
ReplyDeletethank you.-Andy-
Hey Andy, not sure what you mean. Iterative learning - learning from repetition?
DeleteTomorrow we will review everything OF COURSE!
I don't know simple past VS present perfect,still....
Deleteone more time review,please teacher...

DeleteBasically
simple past: specific time in the past, it happened and it's over.
I ate lunch with my friends yesterday.
present perfect: happened in the past - not specific time.
I have eaten lunch with my friends many times.
present perfect continuous - happened in the past - continues to the present.
I have been eating lunch for an hour, it's time for me to go to work now!
Thenk you teacher for your patience. I'm Ayman. I'm studying whit Khalil now. See you tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that you are studying together. See you in the morning.
