discusses many types of dinosaurs, among them the Carnotaurus.
The Carnotaurus lived 82-67 million years ago in Argentina.
This dinosaur probably doesn't look like a dangerous predator, the reason for that is because it has small teeth and ting arms. It confuses you because it really is a perfect killing machine: big, bad, strong and fast. It has the some construction as the Tyrannosaurus Rex, but with horns.
Very interesting summary Rustem. The word carnotaurus comes from Latin of course and it is a compound noun. Carno - meaning MEAT and taurus, meaning BULL, so the name itself means meat eating bull!
ReplyDeleteIt is a little strange that this huge, scary beast has such small arms and little teeth, they just don't seem to be that proportional to the animal's frame!
