Hi everyone - this is a reminder that we will have oral presentations on Monday. It's up to you what you would like to present, as long as you keep us entertained for at least 2/3 minutes, longer is even better. We will also be videotaping presentations, unless you don't feel comfortable with that idea. An alternative is that I could tape only your voice. The idea of the taping is for you to hear yourselves and see yourselves to get a better idea of your language production. This can be very useful for you!
If you would like to include a slide show with your presentation, you can, but this is not required of course!
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend, I am busy, as usual, reading and writing papers!
Remember to get out there and listen to conversations in cafes, bars, on the street, on the bus etc.! I want you to pay attention to the English language wherever you are! If you feel inclined, take notes of what you hear, especially if you have any questions about what you hear and we'll share together in class.
