Actually, he was arrested 3 times since January on many suspicions for abusing children, but investigators couldn't get enough evidence the first 2 times.
The man's excuse was that the tapes were for the girls' childhood memories.

A scandal: English teacher in Japan abuses girls
According to the Daily YOMIURI, March 16, 2010, an English teacher was arrested and indicted on the suspicion of abuse to girls in Japan. The 69-year-old man had a lot of video tapes in which primary school girls were naked. Many girls appeared in the tapes, so investigators suppose that he abused at least 40 girls, and he had been abusing them for 10 years.

It's incredible how someone could do something like that. I can't belive he was arrested two times before and they were not able to stop him. And his "excuse" is unbelieveable!
ReplyDeleteYes, this is such awful news. Some people are just sick, sick, sick - how sad for these young girls. I am relieved that he was finally arrested.
