HW for Monday, 11/25 - complete the work for Chapter 6B also page 50, a review of Unit 5.

Write a story about your favorite food, from your country.  Tell us who introduced you to to this food. Also, give us an ingredient list and explain how to prepare this food.

HW for 11/20

Hi everyone,

Sorry I did not post the HW yesterday... I forgot, please forgive me!

For tomorrow, 11/20:

In the workbook, complete the exercises for 5C and 5D.

(There was no internet connection at the school when we left at 12:30 today, so I couldn't post the homework then and I don't have the book at home, so I don't know the page numbers, but it should be clear which pages you need to complete, there are 4 pages of homework in total.)

Today we began reading Chapter 6A.  If you were absent, please read about the survival scenarios involving the crocodile, the bear and the bull.  We had some good laughs about this in class!

Head's up:

Field trip Wednesday, December 4th to hear Handel's Messiah, at Hertz Hall, at the auditorium of the school of Music on the University of California, Berkeley campus just up the hill a bit.

The concert begins at 12:15, but many people will be in the line because it is a very popular show and it is free, so we will leave the school at 11:15, so we can take a calm walk through the campus and get a seat!

Midterm tomorrow 11/7 - Ch. 1-4

Students,

As you know the midterm is tomorrow, so please be on time!  We will review for one hour before you take the test.

Study the book and use any resources on the blog that are helpful, for example, the Betty Azar link is a very good one for you to review.  She is super clear when she explains grammar points.

Don't forget to study VOCABULARY as you will be tested on this as well.
