the noun clause always has a subject and a verb.

ex.:

Also remember these terms:

Infinitive verb:    to weave
Base form:            weave
S. past:                   wove

Present participle: weaving

Tomorrow you will be learning the Passive Causative construction.

Answer the T or F questions on pages 28 and 29.

Make sure you understand the following:

  • getting away from it all   = leaving 'something or someone' behind
  • off-season = low season  ≠ high season.  Ex.: Cost of travel is cheaper during off season.  Most people travel during high season.
  • get off the beaten track = to go on the track that most people do not go on. 
  • strategies = tactics
  • take the road most traveled = take the road most people take

2. Write a 3-5 sentence paragraph about stress and how you handle it.

Dear students, our first quiz is tomorrow.  It is not hard, just make sure you review Unit 1, that is your homework.  Also go to pages 108-109 to study these verbs.  If you were absent, please come to class anyway and try to take the test, you will probably do well.
